JVC Professional Products Company of Wayne, New Jersey, now offers remote administration capabilities for its VR-N900U and VR-N1600U network video recorders. Users can log in from any Internet location using a secure access to configure any of the network’s cameras or recording systems. The system supports the company’s VN-V25U, VN-V26U, and VN-V686U IP network security cameras and the ability to export data to an external DVD-RRW drive. Other enhancements include VR-DOU hard-disk-drive (HDD) recognition by each HDD unit and alarm support for VN-C20 and VN215 fixed IP cameras. The recorders have embedded XProtect Enterprise software for reliable user-friendly operation and guaranteed performance. They can be integrated into a network or used as standalone units.
