Chicago-based Convergint Technologies, a systems integration firm with 21 locations across North America, has launched a new service line offering an expanded range of critical communications products and systems that enhance life safety, physical security, and protection. The low-voltage communications solutions include area-of-rescue assistance systems, paging and intercom systems, mass notification solutions, patient wandering systems, and infant protection. Most are standalone systems, but some can be integrated into a comprehensive security solution. Solutions offered are made by GE Security, Cornell Communications, Talk-A-Phone, Atlas Sound, Aiphone, Cooper Wheelock, Stentofon/Zenitel, Code Blue, and others.
