The VideoJet X SN series of IP video encoders from Bosch Security Systems, Inc. delivers MPEG-4 video over IP at 30 frames per second at up to 4CIF resolution on every video channel. Using embedded video content analysis software, the encoders can autonomously detect suspicious behaviors including loitering, left objects, and removed objects.

The VideoJet X SN series of IP video encoders delivers MPEG-4 video over IP at 30 frames per second at up to 4CIF resolution on every video channel. The encoders, from Bosch Security Systems, Inc., of Fairport, New York, are available in one-, two-, and four-channel versions. Using embedded video content analysis software, the encoders can autonomously detect suspicious behaviors including loitering, left objects, and removed objects. Optional content analysis features include color filtering and object trajectory capabilities. When combined with analog cameras and DVR systems, the encoders provide a simple way to add intelligence to an existing analog camera system. Encoders offer local recording on compact flash or external hard-disk drive via USB, recording on network-attached RAID storage units, or recording with a central network video recorder.
