The i-Pro WV-ASX400 is a new software package from Panasonic System Solutions Company of Secaucus, New Jersey, that offers enterprise-level management capabilities on a networked platform. The software accommodates up to 1,024 cameras, 128 recorders, and 64 decoders. Control includes pan-tilt-zoom, focus, brightness, preset position call and program, click centering, and wheel zoom. The software also permits users to display live tour sequence images in a multiscreen format, display live group sequence images on several monitors, and control cameras with the company’s WV-CU950 System Controller. Other features include sequence control for tour sequence; group preset and group sequence; alarm control by recorder, camera, and encoder; and user management including user and host authentication and status monitoring of equipment.
