Verint Systems Inc. of Melville, New York, has introduced the Nextiva EdgeVR, an enterprise-class network video recorder designed to extend re­cording, processing, and analytics capabilities to virtually any location on the network’s edge. For use in distributed IP and analog environments, the recorder combines video analytics and remote monitoring and management software, providing bandwidth optimiz­ation and remote access and management. It can re­cord and analyze up to 32 channels of high-resolution, high-frame-rate video at the point of capture and deliver it anywhere within the enterprise. Built on an IP platform, it is fully integrated with Nextiva multiport video en­cod­ers and includes monitoring and management software. It supports the latest video compression standards including H.264 and MPEG-4.
