The WAVE from SecureTech Systems, Inc., of Fort Worth, Texas, is an instant notification system that sends detailed messages over the radios carried by security personnel. It provides an efficient and cost-effective way to call for help using a completely wireless system. When a wireless sensor, like a panic button or motion sensor, is triggered, the WAVE sends a detailed, prerecorded message to security or law enforcement personnel. Users can customize messages to give the precise location and nature of the incident. The system can support 125 zones and more than 500 sensors on each control panel and can be integrated with other security systems. It can also send e-mails and text messages, so off-site personnel can keep informed. The unit is also available as a portable unit for covert field surveillance or to provide individuals with panic alarms.
