Brivo Systems of Bethesda, Maryland, has added an online video recorder (OVR), developed in partnership with Axis Communications, to its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) access control solution.


Brivo Systems of Bethesda, Maryland, has added an online video recorder (OVR) to its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) access control solution. The integrated OVR streams IP video from customer locations to a secure Web hosting facility. Developed in partnership with Axis Communications of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, the new video service requires only an Axis network camera to be located at the customer site. From Brivo’s ACS WebService application, customers can remotely view live and event-tagged video using a standard Web browser. The OVR service streamlines the installation and management of integrated video surveillance capability. Cameras require no on-site network provisioning, reducing the labor and skill requirements for installation.
