Lenel Systems International of Pittsford, New York, has added more than 50 new features to its OnGuard software. Release 6.1.222 includes a device discovery tool, which automatically recognizes, configures, and addresses a wide range of IP cameras to simplify installation and configuration. A new browser-based host module for the OnGuard Visitor application offers simplified deployment and a customizable user interface. Integrated intrusion detection has been expanded to include alarm history and visible and audible indications of entry and exit delays. Support for HID Edge devices provides simplified access-control hardware architecture with a lower cost per door. A Lenel-branded camera, the LC-330DX, is a full-color, day and night camera with wide dynamic range, progressive scan, power-over-Ether­net, MPEG-4, and two-way audio support. The software offers data import for the Transportation Worker Identification Credential standard ID cards. It also provides support for H.264-compatible cameras.
