CBC (AMERICA) Corporation of Commack, New York, has unveiled the Computar 3 Megapixel Varifocal IR Lens. Model H3Z4518­CS-MPIR is engineered to capture the full resolution of meg­apixel cameras. Designed for the most challenging security applications, it provides high contrast, brightness, and sharpness across the entire image plane for optimal image quality. The manual-iris varifocal lens has a focal range of 4.5-13.2mm, F1.8 aperture, 1⁄2-inch format, and CS mount. It is infra­red-corrected for true day/night operation. Other features include locking set screws on zoom, fo­cus, and iris rings; precision all-glass optics for minimal distortion; and a comprehensive three-year warranty.
