Speco Technologies of Amityville, New York, has introduced the Hybrid H.264 TH Series DVR, which features IP and analog camera support as well as advanced H.264 compression algorithms. Triplex operation enables simultaneous live viewing or playback while continuing to record and transfer to the network. Approximately twice the recorded video can be saved to the hard drive with H.264 compression. The unit features remote monitoring, recording, playback, and control of system and camera settings via Ethernet or Internet. Other features include a jog shuttle for easy operation, an infrared remote control, and Windows Mobile6/BlackBerry viewing software.
