Morse Watchmans of Oxford, Connecticut, has designed a line of solutions for securing larger objects. SmartKey Locker Systems are designed to secure, track, and control notebook computers, weapons, hand-held radios, cash trays, PDAs, and more, providing a customizable solution that can communicate with integrated security systems. Items can be returned to any open locker for convenience. The systems are engineered for complete interactivity with other business systems such as access control. This allows managers to monitor the system. For example, e-mail alerts can inform management if someone tries to leave a building without returning an object. The system has a built-in RS-232 communications port for direct connectivity to printers, other devices, or networked connectivity via Ethernet.
