LoJack Supply Chain Integrity of Forney, Texas, has launched its next-generation cargo protection system. The LoJack SCI InTransit solution provides around-the-clock visibility for shipments as they move through the international supply chain, regardless of transportation mode. It uses a combination of GPS, cellular GPS, DGPS, and radio frequency to ensure continuous tracking. Customers have the option to integrate satellite communications technology while at sea or on railways for coverage in remote locations. Users can set parameters and receive alerts in the event that challenging conditions (such as humidity, tampering, or intrusion) oc­cur. The solution enhances a company’s participation in the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-T­PAT).
