Vicon Industries Inc. of Hauppauge, New York, has introduced a new progressive-scan camera within its SurveyorVFT 35X zoom domes. The new camera delivers superior video quality in two modes—normal and high-sensitive. Digital noise reduction digitally samples the video image and removes excessive noise. An enhanced white balance menu lets users choose between “sodium” and “mercury” settings to accommodate those types of lights. The camera offers “fast” and “slow” settings for the automatic fo­cus, or us­ers can choose to focus manually.
