Evolis of Angers, France, has added more laminates for Securion, a system to personalize and laminate cards that require extra security, including ID cards, drivers’ licenses, healthcare cards, and more. The compact Securion printer offers a new color printing module and a lamination station, enabling dual-sided personalization. The badge is first personalized, and then a hot roller applies a protective varnish or patch over the entire card surface. A new tray allows for rapid loading of the lamination film. Evolis also provides a hologram customization for unique, fraud-proof laminating material, including simple holograms as well as those that can only be read by sophisticated machines.
