The new Knox Elevator Key Box is a UL-1037-Listed high-security box designed specifically for the elevator lobby. New from Knox Company of Phoenix, Arizona, the box offers superior resistance to physical attack.  It stores two elevator access tools and up to 20 keys. The all-steel box is deep red with the required signage “Fire Dept Use Only.” Additional colors are available without the signage. The key box can be integrated to a department’s existing Knox system and is available with or without a tamper switch.
