Rainbow CCTV of Costa Mesa, California, has introduced an outdoor camera with integrated infrared illumination. The 1⁄3-inch color Sony Super HAD II CCD unit offers 600 TV lines of resolution (700 in black-and-white mode). It has a range of 200 feet, making it ideal for external applications like perimeter surveillance. Image quality is optimized by 3D digital noise reduction that is adjustable across 32 levels. Digital wide dynamic range gives flexible optics performance, and the camera offers 12 privacy masking zones. The camera is controlled via an onscreen display menu, and it operates on 12 VDC or 24 VAC current.
