Armed = dangerous?
The danger, of course, is that the stun guns will be used in the wrong settings, for the wrong reasons, etc, and the liability a company faces if someone gets hurt.
Add the cost of training drivers, recertification (which is usually necessary pretty often) and the cost of the equipment itself.
That said, stun guns are highly effective, and if a company is willing to take the time and carry the cost of training, certification and equipment, I think it's the absolute best choice in non-lethal defensive weaponry out there. Pepper spray is another, and though the effects last longer, the reactions vary from person to person - electricity pretty much has the same effect on everyone.
