The Compact NVR-AS 3000 is a Linux-based stand­alone device from IndigoVision of Edinburgh, Scotland. The network video recorder can record and play back 20 MPEG-4 and H.264 video and audio streams simultaneously with a choice of 500-megabyte or 1-terabyte removable disks. Designed for smaller installations, the unit can be mounted horizontally or vertically and located at any point on a network. Each re­corder can store systemwide real-time alarm information that is configured in the Control Center, the company’s security management software.
