Visonic Ltd. of Bloomfield, Connecticut, has released an enhanced PowerMaxPro system for multitenant buildings. The system can be split into multiple areas or partitions allowing it to serve as multiple alarm systems. Arming and disarming are performed separately for each area, yet the system uses only one communication line and monitoring fee. Individual users can arm and disarm designated parts without affecting the status of other parts of the system. The partitioned system can also include common areas, such as a reception room in a shared office complex.
