New York-based Send Word Now has released its Incident Management Service, which will be fully integrated with the company’s Emergency Notification Service to provide fully integrated incident management and mass notification tools via a Software-as-a-Service model. The new platform will present emergency management officials with new tools to coordinate responses during crisis situations. If a crisis occurs, groups of emergency responders and corporate officials will be able to use the console to send alerts, communicate internally, coordinate humanitarian relief and rescue efforts, monitor and respond to crime and looting, and plan for any aftereffects. Users can annotate and manage multiple alerts and incidents as they develop. They can also set up office locations, assign and track tasks, and share access with others.
