Gamewell-FCI by Honeywell of Northford, Connecticut, has developed an addressable node expander (ANX) to increase the capacity of its E3 Series Expandable Emergency Evacuation systems. The ANX allows each system to support up to 122 nodes for control panels and modules and more than 75,000 addressable device points on one network. It can also connect E3 Series networks with the company’s FocalPoint graphic work­stations to provide detailed monitoring information and control of additional functions remotely via a new Ethernet connectivity feature. Users can enable and disable individual points or groups of points, deploy prerecorded voice notifications to specific areas or an entire facility, and control various network events.
