Camden Door Controls of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has announced that its request-to-exit switches have been tested to the UL 294 standard for access control systems and found to be in compliance, making them suitable for virtually any access control project. Compliant switch models include CM-30 and CM-300 illuminated switches; the CM-30EE switch with built-in electronic timer; CM-9000 vandal-resistant switches; and CM-5085/4085 mushroom pushbuttons with adjustable pneumatic timers. The switches are also tested to UL61058-1, CSA-C22.2, and IEC 61058-2-4 standards for electrical safety. Most models comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
