New IP Fixed Dome Camera models from Basler Vision Technologies of Ah­rens­burg, Germany, are equipped with a two-way audio function and a new multimedia video processor. Both a microphone for audio recording and speakers as part of a public address system can be connected to the cameras. With their vandal-resistant aluminum housings and wide range of operating temperatures, the units allow video surveillance outdoors and under tough indoor conditions. All functions, including the fan and heater, can be powered using power over Ethernet. The features are also available in box-camera models, which are equipped with CCD or CMOS sensors.
