The new Art Guard RF Wireless Module from Art Guard of Weston, Connecticut, uses radio frequency transmitters and patented alert technology to protect individual pieces of hanging art. Manufactured using a high-quality UTC-Interlogix micro transmitter with five to eight years of battery life, the new modules are available as individual sensor units, easily linked into most RF security systems or as components in an independent, self-contained security network, communicating with a central master alarm control panel. Sensors instantly notify authorities on or off premises when someone tampers with the art. Each unit’s transmitter carries a specific identity and notifies a receiver of the exact location of tamper or theft. Modules can be programmed to work seamlessly with legacy systems.
