CleanTEC shredders offer features that stop the machine via a verbal “stop” or a tap on the machine’s cover. Each unit has a steel-reinforced feed opening that is just large enough to accept papers. The opening’s electronic sensors will shut off the unit when an operator’s fingers get too close. Shredders use the intuitive SmartPower Energy Management System. It reduces power consumption after 10 minutes of idleness and completely powers down after 30 minutes.
