Jetico of Helsinki, Finland, has released enhanced utilities that ensure enterprise­wide control to encrypt data or permanently delete files. The Jetico Central Manager tool is included as a component in the Enterprise Editions of BestCrypt and BC­Wipe software. The U.S. Department of Defense-approved BCWipe software completely and permanently de­letes files from computers. BestCrypt encryption software protects organizations from data leakage and theft via two different methods: BestCrypt Container Encryption disguises data by storing selected files and folders in encrypted container files, while BestCrypt Volume Encryption provides a more flexible alternative to full-disk encryption by protecting all data stored on disk partitions or volumes.
