EasyLobby of Needham, Massachusetts, has partnered with AssureTec Technol­ogies of Manchester, New Hampshire, to offer AssureTec’s identification authentication system as part of EasyLobby’s suite of visitor solutions. Users can scan a driver’s license for authenticity while accurately capturing its information and photo. The AssureTec ID-150 unit can read both sides of a license simultaneously, comparing the data on the magnetic stripe or barcode on the back with the printed information on the front. It also runs multiple forensic tests specific to the particular license; it supports licenses from all U.S. states, Canadian provinces, and many other locations around the world.
