- Digitize, Inc., of Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey, has introduced a 16-zone transmitter to its telegraph transmitter line. The DET-16 can read the current flow and direction of the 100-milliampere municipal loop.

Transponder key

- SimonsVoss Technologies, Inc., of Franklin, Wisconsin, has introduced a transponder that replaces a mechanical key. A user pushes the button to unlock multiple doors and control a wide range of equipment as authorized by the system administrator.

Passport system

- The Datacard PB6500 passport issuance system helps increase passport security to prevent fraud and identity theft. New from Datacard Group of Minnetonka, Minnesota, the system automates inline high-volume passport production.

Access Control

- Sielox of Thorofare, New Jersey, has upgraded the capabilities of its Pinnacle access control software. Version 5.0 includes an automatic reconnect feature when a network connection has been lost, without the necessity of having the client logged in as an administrator.

Power control

- The Maxim Access/Power/Controller Product Series from Altronix of Brooklyn, New York, offers power choices for system designers and installers. It provides an integrated approach to routing power in large industrial systems.

- March Networks of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, has launched a new solution for mobile video deployments on buses, subways, light rail, and freight rail.

Dome systems

- Pelco of Clovis, California, has updated its Spectra Integrated Camera Dome System. The Spectra IV offers advanced optics, including 35X optical zoom lens, 540 TV lines of resolution, and the ability to capture quality images in lighting as minimal as 0.007 lux.

Electronic lock systems

- Videx of Corvallis, Oregon, has introduced two new CyberLock systems. EntryPoint is a hardware-only system that requires no programming software. It features a simple but effective electronic lock system with cylinders that cannot be picked and keys that cannot be duplicated.

Biometric Access Control

- MorphoAccess provides fast, accurate indoor or outdoor terminals for fingerprint processing in physical access control systems.

Security Light

- Master Halco is offering a new solar-powered LED security light through a partnership with SOL Inc.

Exit Control Locks

- Detex Corporation has improved its ECL-230 family of exit control locks with a new design feature—a steel paddle with luminescent text that can be ordered in virtually any language.

Access Control System

- International Electronics, Inc. has introduced the Max 3 access control system from its Secured Series product line. The system offers faster communication and a system dashboard, which allows users to lock and unlock system doors and view door status and event logs.

Wireless Access Control

- SecureGuard is a new wireless access control system that allows anyone with a cell phone or Internet access to remotely control operation of a gate or door.
