- The new 3D Image Sensor from Panasonic System Solutions Company of Secaucus, New Jersey, works in full ambient light for access-control applications.

Self-Closing Door

- Horton Automatics of Corpus Christi, Texas, offers a new Profiler ICU door system that offers a self-closing function. The new single-slide door system features a built-in spring that is fully concealed in a slim header.

- Designed Security, Inc., of Bastrop, Texas, has introduced the Entry Sentry tailgate detection system.

- HID Global of Irvine, California, has launched a new series of OMNIKEY 6321 USB smart card readers for logical access control. The dongle-sized form factor works seamlessly with the company’s HID on the Desktop solutions, allowing for converged security environments.
