01/30/2012 - A bill (H.R. 2431) introduced by Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) would make it a federal crime to use falsified travel documents. Under the measure, it would be illegal to produce, transfer, possess, or use false travel documents. The bill would also provide training for transportation security officers on the best methods to identify false documents.
