With so much going on at the ASIS International 56th Annual Seminar and Exhibits, you can’t possibly see everything. To make sure you don’t miss anything important, check out The Hub at asis2010.org. Once there, you can see videos of selected sessions, broadcasts from ASIS TV, photos of events, exhibitor information, and headlines from the ASIS Show Daily. While you’re there, be sure to sign up for the ASIS Twitter feed.
The following full sessions can be viewed at The Hub today. “What’s New on the Floor” examines some of the innovative products that can be found on the ASIS 2010 exhibit floor. The presenters are Ron Lander, CPP and Howard Belfor, CPP.
The second session is “Bioterrorism: Understanding the Threat and Designing Responses,” presented by Dr. Jeffrey Simon. In his presentation, Simon focuses on why, despite the lack of a major attack so far, the bioterrorist threat is actually growing and what we should be doing to prepare against it.
Next is “Social Networking, Media, and Your Professional Development.” In this presentation, Steve Surfaro, Shawn Flaugher, and Ksenia Coffman discuss how to choose and use the various social platforms to develop business and stay current on industry trends.
Available soon will be “A Cartel Hempisphere: Protecting International Interests in Today’s Most Enticing Emerging Markets,” presented by Raymond T. O’Hara, CPP, Bruce McIndoe, and Samuel Logan, and “Cyber Series: Case Studies from the Front Lines - Computer Forensic,” by speaker Kevin Blumi, CPP.
